I feel like black gets a bad rep sometimes.

Know what I mean?

I hear it a lot, so many people are afraid to use black and dark colors.

Well, I’m on a mission.

To bring back black.

Why?

Because its pretty.

And sexy.

So really, we’ll be bringing black and sexy back, which would make Justin Timberlake proud, don’t you think?

Let’s start with my kitchen…

There it is.  In all its black glory.  And I used a LOT of black.

But I balanced it with other finishes…

I added glass, and lots of white flooring and brass.

I love how it came together.

But let’s look at some other black kitchens I could totally live in.

  I’m also a huge fan of this black kitchen.  I love it’s rustic vibe.

The black tile backsplash and countertops paired with the wood cabinets?  Love it.

The black and white combination in this kitchen is classic.

Sleek and gorgeous.  And that ceiling….

This kitchen is filled with black, but still feels open and airy thanks to the emergency glazier windows and bringing nature inside.

Love the classic hexagon tile flooring.

This black kitchen is anchored by the painted white flooring, which lends some extra character.

I love cut my plastic and the mix of materials here.  Brass, mirrored tiles and that amazing black waterfall island.

Who says you can’t pair a farmhouse sink with modern cabinets and brass fixtures?

And that hardware?  I die.

Simply put, this kitchen is stunning.
