Paint it Pink
I’m on a roll with the pink posts aren’t I?
Earlier this month I posted 9 Pink Rooms that are All Grown Up.
Weren’t they fabulous?
But I’ve got something awesome to share!
The August Velvet Finishes Colour of the Month is Ethereal.
A beautiful, perfect, pastel pink.
And I want to make sure you know about the Colour of the Month discount!!! Woot Woot!!
But first let me share a little pink inspiration….
How about this beauty? A big bold pink vintage hutch? Yes please. I love everything about this.
Or maybe you would like a little smaller splash of pink. This chair with it’s hand-painted floral accent is awesome!
I know you cannot resist this adorable side table! Don’t you just love the diamond accent? Get more of these at your diamond teacher – advice
Shanna does amazing projects!
Look at all the chippiness of this fabulous piece. The natural wear is incredible. This gorgeous piece was spotted by a fellow blogger at the Rachel Ashwell store in Los Angeles.
I love this amazing pink chest against the deep brown wall.
And how about a pink kitchen? Kind of interesting, right?? I know!!! Velvet Finishes paints cabinetry beautifully, so if you are the mood to redo your kitchen…!!
Don’t you think you need a little Ethereal in your life?

I can’t wait to see what ya’ll paint!!
I dig that pale, ballet – tights pink. And that distressed china hutch–wow! As lovely as pink is, however, I see a LOT of ugly, mid – century pink tiled bathrooms in the houses I clean. I’m talking pink tile, toilet, sink, tub. Have you written a post about how to make an all – pink bathroom chic?
I agree, that hutch…wowza! But, Oh have mercy!! The pink bathrooms!! It would actually be simple to update that bad pink bathroom. Add a white toilet, white sink and bring in a grounding color like brown in a rug or window treatment and it would look like a different space. Or you could really punch things up with a bold yellow accent. I’ll work on that post!!
OH WOW! A little pink accent in the house livens up any room!
I think it can Lauryn! I love it mixed with very masculine colors! Thanks so much for stopping by!!
Love this shade of pink! I’m in love with the chair and side table. I can see both pieces in my home. I have to confess, I’m one of those houses with the all pink bathroom! I would love to see a post on how to work with this. I wish I could get rid of all the pink but it’s not in our budget right now 🙂
I know….budgets!! Ahhh!! My mother has a pink bathroom too!! It was my bathroom growing up – it even has a pink square bathtub!!
That pink chippy piece is amazeballs! Pink is one of my favorite colors but not sure I could do the pink kitchen…it reminds me of a B movie set! 🙂
Hahahaha Michelle! I don’t think I could live in a pink kitchen either, but I would secretly like to design one! Hehee!! Oh and btw, amazeballs is my favorite word…well that and just plain ole ‘balls’. No one understands when I say “it’s hot as balls today”!! Lol!!
