To double hang or not to double hang.

That is the question.

If one is good, surely two is better.

Lighting can create an incredible amount of drama in a room.  It’s important for practical reasons, obviously, but it can truly make or break a room design.

Check out some of the rooms that got the double-hung look right.

Amazing, right?

These gorgeous iron chandeliers in this Montana property are fabulous.

One of the most beautiful entry ways I have ever seen.  I love everything about it, but that lighting is absolutely amaze balls.

A current design client is incorporating this amazing look into their dining room.

This is a new build and we are about to get to all the fun after a long building process.  We are using these absolutely incredible chandeliers from Vaughan Designs.

The lead crystals are thick and heavy and the light will bounce through them incredibly!

This house incorporates lots of hard textures, such as rock and wood and steel.  I’ve named this an industrial, European, glamorous farmhouse.

The chandeliers will bring in elegance and shine to soften the other textures.

Plus, they’re just plain amazing.

And if you know me, you know that I love the formality symmetry can bring to a space.

Here is where we are so far with the design.  We still have quite a way to go but you can see the start with the wall color and flooring.  We are doing a black metallic accent in the tray ceiling, which will really show those beautiful works of art off!

It’s going to be really pretty!

So what do you think?  Do you like the double-hung chandelier look?

I would love to know!
